This fire engine has been donated by Japan. It is so small it seems more like a model than the real thing!
Now, this is one BIG bug!!In Bahia, there is a walk/hike up to the cross on the hill. It's a bit of a slog, in the heat, but has a great view.Although several people we know have done this hike, NO ONE mentioned this dog!!! I nearly crapped my drawers!! He seemed to be well secured...but????This was the view over the harbour where we are moored. This little fellow spends all day in this tiny "tienda" or store. It is a fast food stand. Not much room to move around in there! This is our friend Terry from Secret of life. He's trying to untie his dinghy from along side Fortuitous. If you look hard, you can see the bow wake on his dinghy. Four knots of current, folks!! That's just about as fast as we go when we're moving!!Here's how we left Fortuitous as we headed inland, for some touring and our flight home out of Lima Peru.
This is a blog of the sailing adventures of SV Fortuitous, and some of our land adventures too. The oldest, from 2004, are at the bottom of the list. Please feel free to leave a comment.
