Here we are in the Manzanillo boat yard. We put Fortuitous on the hard on Monday, as hoped, and have been working on her ever since. Flavit and his crew have started grinding off the antifouling and old barrier coat on Fortuitous' bottom, in preparation for a few blister repairs and a brand new gel coat.
Ralph and I are working on all the other things that need removing in order for it all to come together. Looking forward to Greg's arrival tonight from his backpacking adventures in Nicaragua and Costa Rica. We'll be putting him to work tomorrow and he'll be sorry he's back.
I will post some photos of what we're up to, and of Cartagena, in the next few weeks.
